One of the most influential modes of instruction comes from students working alongside and learning from creative professionals in their chosen field of study. These once-in-a-lifetime interactions and experiences fuel our students’ creative drive, inspiration, and aspiration.

ACT Master Classes, Clinics, and Summer Intensives

Through our Master Creator Series, students have the privilege of studying with world-renowned guest creators in a variety of master classes, clinics, workshops, and performance experiences. These leading industry professionals have a profound impact on the students’ education and often serve as their mentors and inspiration as they advance to higher education and a professional career in the arts. Guest creators and master teachers have included many esteemed professionals from institutions such as Berklee College of Music, The Recording Academy, New York University, Alvin Ailey, and Boston Conservatory.

ACT Student Showcase

ACT occasionally hosts a student showcase which allows students the opportunity to perform in front of an engaged audience of community leaders and industry professionals. Showcases are an opportunity for students to take their training to the stage and receive hands-on experience of performing at a high level. Students enrolled in ACT’s beginner through advanced classes are invited to participate and will receive one-on-one coaching and mentorship in order to prepare and activate their full potential. Held in various locations throughout Tampa Bay, student showcases are a great opportunity to gain recognition and feedback as a performing artist.
