Visual Arts

Lessons and exercises consist of applying the technical skills and the ability to organize visual elements (line, shape, color, texture and space) necessary to communicate concepts and experiences across various media. ACT’s classes and workshops are offered in an environment that enhances the students’ creative potential  through the development of creative critical thinking, self-esteem and advanced technique.

In ACT, students are immersed in a creative and dynamic environment, where they can cultivate their artistic talents using art materials and focusing on the fundamentals of art theory (including color and design principles). Our classes and workshops offer an environment for students to learn fine art studio techniques, as well as to improve upon existing artistic skills. The result is that Visual Arts students build an art portfolio that reflects talent, skill, and professionalism, along with a personal narrative body of work. Our program is designed for students who love to make art of any kind, including drawing, painting, sketching and sculpture.
