THE HITT’EM OVER THE HEART CHARITY AWARD

The Hitt’em Over The Heart Award is a monthly program dedicated to giving back to charities and organizations in need. Every month, the employee with the most bonus points gets the opportunity to choose an organization, and The HOTH contributes on that employee’s behalf.

Accessibility: ACT is committed to ensuring equitable access for people with disabilities or physically challenged. We continue to evaluate and improve all of our students, teaching artists, employees, and visitors' experience and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Tutoring and Mentorship: In an effort to ensure that no students are left to the margins of society, the ACT is committed to providing academic tutoring and mentorship before and after school. Given the poor postsecondary trajectories of underprivileged youth and the barriers they encounter within their immediate contexts, mentoring has emerged as a mechanism for addressing barriers. The prominence of and need for mentoring has increased as opportunities for authentic interactions with adults in out-of-school activities such as sports, the arts, theatre, and various clubs have decreased (Ashtiani & Feliciano, 2018; Raposa et al., 2018).
